Henry’s advantage is not one product. It is that a wrap, a flashing and a sealant from the same house carry one warranty and one phone number.
Henry — now Henry, a Carlisle Company — makes weather-resistive barriers in every category we install: traditional Grade D building papers such as Jumbo Tex, polymeric housewraps such as WeatherSmart, self-adhered membranes such as Blueskin VP100, and fluid-applied coatings. That breadth is the point. Use a Henry WRB with a Henry flashing and a Henry sealant and the assembly qualifies for the 1-2-3 Moisture Control System warranty: fifteen years, materials and labor, with a single point of contact if something goes wrong.
Mixing brands across an envelope is normal and usually works fine. What it costs you is that warranty, and the argument about whose product failed.
Blueskin VP100 is the one we specify most where a wall needs a fully adhered barrier — 33 perms, self-adhered, and rated as an air barrier material at 0.004 cfm/ft². Henry’s published limit is 150 days before it must be covered. Not six months, not “a season”.
The winter caveat matters here as much as anywhere. Henry requires an approved primer whenever the substrate is below 40°F, and calls for temperatures of 40°F and rising for optimal application. Through most of a Seattle, Bellevue or Tacoma heating season that primer step is not optional, and an installer who skips it has put the wall outside the warranty.

Henry publishes its warranty terms only as downloadable documents, and the durations vary by product and by whether the full system is used. If a warranty period matters to your decision, ask us for the specific document covering the products going on your wall rather than relying on a headline figure.
