Woodinville’s trees are the story. Homes here sit under mature evergreen canopy more than almost anywhere on the Eastside, and shaded walls that never fully dry age on a faster clock — north and east exposures fail years ahead of the sunny sides. Moss at the roofline compounds it, feeding moisture down the wall below. When we inspect a Woodinville home (often on our way home), the shade walls come first.

The terrain adds the second layer: Hollywood Hill, Wellington, and the slopes above the Sammamish Valley put plenty of homes on grades where runoff concentrates at the base of walls. And the housing spans the ’70s–’90s growth decades, which includes the hardboard-era homes we’ve re-sided all over the Eastside — swelling joints and soft bottom edges are the tells.

How We Work

Tear-off and sheathing inspection, weather-resistive barrier, flashing at every opening and transition, siding installed to the manufacturer’s specification, sealing, paint if in scope, and a final walkthrough. One face at a time — watertight throughout — with daily cleanup including a rolling magnet for nails. Work hours 8 to 5, Monday through Friday.
